Climate Change, Shplimate Change
I only pray that by adding my two-cents worth, it may have just a little impact.
First: 31,000 very intelligent scientists have all signed a petition saying that man DOES not effect change in the weather. And also the 17% change in CO2 emissions, that our President endorses is - next to impossible, and will not effect change, except once again, taking a lot of change from our pockets and putting it in the pockets of people who will NOT help fix the climate of the Earth in ANY way!!
Second: Can't anyone else see that this "Cap And Trade" bill will only take money from us, then put in people's pockets who have NO ability to effect ANY change in the weather - positive or negative. AND: the man who is making, and has made the most money from this stuff is: AL GORE. How can anyone believe anything he has to say about climate change?
I don't know for sure, but if you're like me, you cannot afford more taxes, higher fuel costs, or home values falling one more dollar.

Thanks so much for airing your thoughts on this subject. On a daily basis, another freedom is being taken away or laws imposed upon by our current administration or world leaders! It is imperative that we as concerned citizens and parents, put an end to the fascist take over of our world. Worldwide redistribution of wealth has never been what our country was founded on and is not what we should turn over to our kids and grandkids! Our country was built on our Constitution and we should live by it just as we always have. There is a bigger agenda in Copenhagen than just climate change, and if our citizens would stop worrying about Tiger Woods affairs and White House party crashers and learn the truth about where our country is headed, they would be shocked. We must open our eyes and take action with Tea Parties, spreading the word, and using out power at the polls to give our country back to the people! You are in a position that affords you access to a larger audience than most and we need people with that benefit to speak up! Thank You! Pam Duval Dixon

Hi Rick and Jenda, It's Frank from Az, hope all is well, I am glad to see that you guys aren't falling for the man-made global warming garbage. It is another scare tactic to profit from the taxpayers. Al Gore has invested in a Carbon Credit company to profit from his false info Video. It's just plain ol' Marketing. Talk to ya' soon... Frank

Rick, we don't know which scientists are honest and which are on the take. True science requires that all
methods be proven. One scientist or a thousand cannot base their findings on faked data period. We
now know this to be the case. I have no problem keeping the world clean. I do have a problem having my rights taken away from me. Real Americans stand up against Tyranny. GBR

Dude, I hate to break it to you like this, but the planet is in dire straits (NO, it's not playing rhythm guitar), and a few people can't change the fact that the ice caps are still melting. My SO says Detroit (her hometown) just got it's first serious snowfall--a first! Usually it snows in November, or even in October. There are signs all over the world, and only the truly stupid are oblivious to them. Your comments are the equivalent of a dork telling you how to play the riff in RnRHK, which you can probably do backwards in your sleep. It's time for people to wake up and smell what's cookin'. Here's a clue: it's our gooses! Like where are we going to live, when the world is too toxic to support life? When the seas are dead because of all the crap that gets dumped in them on a DAILY basis, and when the last tree is cut down in the rain forest (not much longer at 1,000 acres per minute, the rate a few years ago!). Mankind is probably the stupidest life form on the planet, because we have the ability to recognize when we do stupid things--and the total lack of intelligence to ignore the consequences of our acts! It won't be long before kids are born with 3 toes, or two heads, or some other aberration, and then what will we do? Whine about why something wasn't done (by the government, of course) before it was too late! You can be sure Rush and Glen, and your other news sources, judging by your comments, will be leading the pack, the whiners they are in real life!

Hey Rick,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The climate change agenda goes so deep most of us can't even wrap our minds around it. But at least their coalition is beginning to crumble a little bit. 2010 is going to be a very important year for this nation. I am glad to see that there are celebrities like yourself that still have a clear head. Thanks for providing us with such great music over the years, and a sense of reality as well! I remember seeing you at Town Point Park in Norfolk, VA while I was in the Navy. I still have the pics! It was great to see a rock and roll legend perform live! Keep up the good work and I have the New Year brings untold blessings to you and your family!

First Rick, I hope you had a blessed Christmas and
Happy New year. I pray your family is well. I'm pleased that you have done some home work on this subject.
After spending some exhaustive time going through
the CRU emails I can tell you you are on the right page! Obama's Cap and Tax is the same as his Health care. More power over the People. I have no
problem with taking care of our planet in a responsible manner. But I will not give up my rights
endowed by our Maker. Common Sense is far more
powerful than elitism!!. Again God bless and "KEEP ON ROCKING"!!!!!! Buzzy

Rick, I couldn't agree with you more. Our nation is enduring one of the worst winters ever with more to come. Here in Houston, we've had snow for only the 3rd time in the last 20 years, and are expecting more tomorrow. My family out east have gone through a bitter, cold winter filled with snow storm after snow storm, and there's much more on the way. I don't want to hear about 'global warmimg', or 'El Nino', or any of the catch phrases the liberal 'Al Gore-ites' use. The fact is, this is a brutal winter with people dying because of the ferocity of the cold, stormy weather. The mass media only report what they want to report: the 'global warmimg' farce. We need to get the 31,000 scientists who oppose the 'global warmimg' (sorry, now it's 'climate change') hypothesis out to the masses as a rebuttal to the common wisdom.

Rick, I live just outside D.C. in Vienna Va. We had 28"
easy!! Today it's raining a little but it's not touching
the mounds of snow. Remember the stories of Valley
Forge and the delaware river. It was in 1812 that the
French retreated from moscow in the worst winter in Europe's history. That was also the year that England burned down Washington D.C. The second day the British experienced a freak hurricane/gale
in D.C. including a tornado that reeked havoc among the troops!!! They have never blamed that on Global Warming or Climate change. GBR
